Syllabus for 2026 is now live on the website.
Welcome to the syllabus for the2026 festival!
We are so looking forward to seeing lots ofreturning musicians and dramatists this year, and as always, are excitedto meet the new faces joining the LSCF family. We have generously been provided, once again, with sponsorship from the ABRSM for some of our classes – this year Strings
As always, you can expect a wonderfullyfriendly and welcoming festival, venues with great performance spaces, pleasing acoustics, warm-up spaces and, should you require, first-rateaccompanists. We are pleased to be able to let you know that the class prices for 2026 are exactly the same as last year.
The festival fully relies on a wonderful groupof unpaid volunteers; the people organising the classes, taking the entries, compiling the programmes and syllabuses, updating the website and social mediaand balancing the books all do so as their way of supporting the arts. All thestewards and helpers on the festival days are also volunteers. If you think youwould like to support the festival in this way, either as a casual helper or asa member of the committee, then please get in touch with any of the existingcommittee members. We are currently looking for a treasurer specifically, butposts as section secretaries often become available.
The committee and I are looking forward tohearing your performances this summer. Entries close on May 1st so don’tforget to go online and put in those entries!
